Here is what we are offering for our Fall season:
Introducing Four Seasons Youth Orchestra Course Modules Fall 2020
Course modules are a new way of offering an exciting and engaging orchestral program in an online virtual learning environment. They are designed to give students the opportunity to choose which aspects of the orchestral training program that best fits their goals as an orchestral player. The FSYO program will have four course modules, of which each student is encouraged to choose a minimum of two in which to participate. Each module will include activities from the following list:
- 1 weekly Zoom meeting for 30 minutes - listening assignments - video submissions for group feedback - performance classes featuring live or recorded performances - special guest lectures
COURSE MODULE #1 - Basic Music Theory and Composition
COURSE MODULE #2 - Performance Practice and Audition Preparation
COURSE MODULE #3 - Group Performance Project
COURSE MODULE #4 - Introduction to Orchestral Literature and Basic Conducting
The course modules program will run for 14 weeks beginning on 9/9/20. Zoom meetings will be held Wednesday afternoon/evening at 30 minute intervals and a zoom link for each meeting will be provided to the student.
We are in the process of booking a venue for limited Sunday in-person rehearsals for those who are able or interested. Our virtual course modules will continue to take place when rehearsals resume.
Fall Tuition: $180 + $75 registration fee

Rehearsals (when they resume): Sundays, 3:00 pm-6:00pm at Saddleback College
Cost: $650 per season (season runs September-June)

This is the 30th season of the Four Seasons Youth Orchestra!
We have a great season planned and we are very excited to begin rehearsals.
Here are a few details about our season (more to be announced soon!):
We will be returning to Saddleback Community College for our Sunday rehearsals!
We will have an opportunity for orchestra members to create chamber groups to perform at community centers and retirement homes a few times throughout the season.
This performance opportunity is a great experience for the students to have and it is great for our community!
There are many more exciting events that we will have throughout the season which will be announced soon!
